Based in Singapore, J C Sum represents a new breed of world-class illusionists and is one of Asia’s very few Mega Illusionists.

For the past ten years, he has been at the forefront of world-class illusion entertainment in Asia. Besides his live illusion shows that have been staged across Asia Pacific, he was the first in Singapore to have a regular Street Magic series on television, VCD and outdoor media.

He is best known for staging South East Asia’s First Ever Mega Illusion where he teleported up 50 stories in 5 seconds, in front of 9000 people.

J C is a recipient of a 'Master of Magic' award from the International Festival of Magic (Bangladesh), two IBM Linking Ring Awards and performs in "Ultimate Magic", a daily illusion show at The Arena @ Clarke Quay along with onstage partner 'Magic Babe' Ning.


On 24 Sept 2008, J C and Ning successfully attempted what Channel News Asia called “South East Asia’s Biggest Magic Event”, by teleporting 3 people across the iconic Singapore River in 2.5 seconds in front of over 5000 people.

Since 2004, J C has been offering professional illusion products to the international magic community. He is Asia's most prolific illusion designer with 4 books and over 50 original illusion designs to his name.
