An Example of One
Presentation/ Effect:
The illusionist displays a modern
looking illusion cabinet center stage. The prop starts off
with its back facing the audience, to show that there is
nothing behind it. It is then revolved 180 degrees,
displaying a closed white Venetian blind covering the
entire front of the cabinet
The blind is rotated open to reveal an empty interior except
for a placard of a corporate logo, mounted on a metal stand.
The illusionist gestures dramatically and the logo starts
to float up towards the top of the cabinet. He raises the
Venetian blind and removes the metal stand. With the blind
still raised halfway up, the logo floats down.
The blind is lowered completely but
it is kept open so that the audience can still see the
floating logo inside the cabinet. A sequin cloth at the
top of the cabinet is released so that it drops down and
covers the front of the cabinet and Venetian blind.
The
cabinet is revolved 360 degrees and the front and back
sequin covers are ripped away to reveal the magical
appearance of a CEO holding onto the logo.

'Blinded' was designed as a:
After
a card manipulation routine, a jumbo card floats and
magically transforms into a beautiful girl holding a jumbo
card castle or a girl dressed as a 'queen'.
After
a standard Zombie Ball routine, the silver sphere is placed
into the cabinet and floats up & down, side to side.
Finally, a girl appears holding the ball.
After
a Fearson-style floating cigarette, the cigarette is placed
into the cabinet and floats up & down.
Finally, the cigarette changes into a girl holding a giant
'No-Smoking' sign.
After
a money act, a jumbo bill floats and magically transforms
into a beautiful girl in an expensive evening dress.
